Description

Are you looking to expand additional storage within the HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9 Server? The HP SAS Expander Card provides internal storage expansion within the HP ProLiant DL380 Gen9 Server by allowing support for more than 8 internal hard disk drives when connected to a Gen9 supported Smart Array or Smart HBA controller. This full height card supports 12 Gb/s SAS connectivity and features 9 internal ports with a maximum of 26 physical links. The SAS Expander Card is ideal for DL380 Gen9 Server users who want to RAID more than 8 internal hard disk drives or who want to add an additional internal drive cage and RAID across all the internal drives depending on the controller. This option kit contains all the cables necessary to connect the different SAS drive cages supported on the DL380 Gen9 Server.

The HP SAS Expander Card provides internal storage expansion within the DL380 Gen9 Server for increased disk storage capacity. The SAS Expander Card works with the supported HP Smart Array or HP Smart Host Bus Adapter by providing 12 Gb/s SAS connectivity. The SAS Expander Card features nine (9) internal ports and supports a maximum of 26 physical links. The drives attached behind the SAS Expander Card are managed by the supported HP Smart Array Controller or HP Smart Host Bus Adapter. The HP SAS Expander Card and the attached internal storage devices are configured, deployed and managed by the easy to use HP Smart Storage Administrator software which is included in the intelligent provisioning capabilities of the server. Simplify the management of the attached storage pool with HP Smart Storage Administrator.

Competitive prices and very reliable

Absolutely brilliant customer service from Jim himself. Jim was very quick to reply to my email regarding a tracking issue, and even followed up personally to make sure the product was in my hands. Wouldn't normally bother with review's but I was really impressed with ValuPC, despite never having heard of them before. While googling a specific laptop model I noticed that they're cheaper than other psychical stores by over €200. I ordered the laptop late one and 2 - 3 it was at my door. Was going to go to an English chain of computer shop, googled and seen valupc. I ordered a new laptop and Monitor late Sunday night and had them in my hands on Wednesday morning with everything working as expected. I would recommend Valupc as they are Irish and defiantly good value, will be back in the future.
